Q: Cracked Evap canister and vent valve Estimate on 2002 Nissan Pathfinder

Rookie cbe0621eac06868b3efe0d8d1d3611e23c60d3114864ea2ec19a68cfbd3eebab
I got a quote for replacing a cracked evap canister and vent valve of $651 (parts only). Is this a fair estimate?

Thanks

I just did a quick search online and a canister seems to run from $90-110.00. I don't see anything close to $500.
That sounds pretty high. I just replaced the canister, vent valve and Leak Diagnosis pump on a 2000 BMW 328ci and the parts were $350 and this is for a BMW! Later this weekend I can check some parts pricing. Is this a dealership? Who is recommending these parts and why? Are there codes? If so, what are the codes? I do Emissions work for a living in Calif. Did your car fail an emissions test? Let me know and I will do my best to add some clarity.
This price is right on...I deal with these parts everyday. The vent control valve is 120, and the canister is 500ish.
Sounds to high for the parts. I checked on the parts for my Nissan Maxima and the 2 parts were about $300 @ O'Reillys.
