Q: Could something be possibly be wrong other than the final stage blower motor? on 2000 BMW 528i

The engine fan won't turn off even when the car is and it keeps draining my battery (purchased new 2 months ago). My husband disconnected the battery, recharge it & when he reconnected it the alarm went off and he barely got the doors opened before the car locked all of the doors and wouldn't open even with the key. Also a few months after I got the car a lady rear ended me while she was putting on her driving glasses even admitted that to the H.P. She was apparently not going very fast b/c the only visible damage was a splayed cracked bubble in the bumper. I was stopped when it happened but because my head was turned to the left waiting for my turn to turn she ruptured 2 discs in my neck which required surgery. Doc admitted me b/c if I got jarred in any way 1 of the discs would sever my spinal cord from the damage caused to it. Long story short, we don't have a lot of money to spend right now b/c the Doc. won't release me to work. Please help! I am absolutely in love with this car but can't drive it b/c of this ailment.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks
