Could my car be dead ?

(1996 Ford Mustang)
I own a 1996 ford mach 2 mustang with a v6 engine , this afternoon while driving on the freeway i heard a rattling sound like somthing was loose under the car , the temp gauge had been going over its normall limit but i didnt think anything of it till i heard the rattling. I was going about 65 when the rattling started and it stopped when i dropped down to 50 however when i got back up to 65 the rattling got faster and harder, i pulled off to the side of the road and thats when the car started to have smoke come from the front it wasnt a lot but it was noticeable and you could smell it , and when i looked a green fluid had spilled out onto the road where the front of the car is on the right side near the right tire . when i started the car up after the smoke had stopped the car rattled a bit and then stopped . Is the car dead ? What is wrong with it . I live in a cold area and as i was driving i had been trying go use the heater but no heat was coming out. What might be the reason?

First of all I didn't know they made a 96 Mach 2 V6. That must be really rare.

It's hard to tell what's wrong without a complete inspection. You could just have a blown hose and maybe a pulley making noise or a bad water pump. You could have serious engine damage too. Your best bet at this point is to use this link and have a shop take a look. I'd tow the car so you don't overheat.
