Coolant leak from bottom of engine after overheating from belt breaking any idea

"altenator belt broke on way home and when we got home shut truck off and coolant was leaking from bottom of engine. replaced belt and thermostat today then put coolant in and it immediately leaked from bottom of engine. 2004 explorer 4.6 engine any ideas?"

Your leak could be coming from the water pump, or the timing cover. I would recommend to have the cooling system pressure tested by a professional service center to locate the exact source and advise on repairs needed. Please let us know if you need any assistance.
