.....yes, It is filled. I've read that the sensor switch may need replacing?

It's possible. Is the flashing of the light constant and rhythmic or is it randomly on and off with no pattern?

i am working on the same thing. I pulled the pig tail off and jumped it and the light went out. i am going to pull and replace sensor just to be safe.
