compass display shut down fuses are ok any solution?

I found on the internet a fix which worked very well. The problem is the resistors on the circuit board. There are two square tiny resistors that overheat in time and they disconnect at the saulder joint. Take a close look and that may be your problem. Just gently saulder those connections and presto, it works. no problem since.
