Column Shifter will not shift out of park

When I try to shift the column shifter out of park, it will not budge

Check to see if the brake lights are working. Possible blown fuse, the brake light or wiring to the switch gives trouble on this vehicle also.

Try to turn the key 1 click, not to run, and see if you can pull it into neutral, and start it. OK it's the shift lock actuator, just wanted you to check a way to be able to drive it instead of a wrecker.
