Clutch slave cylinder replacement and speed control.

I just had the clutch slave cylinder replaced with the pre bleed kit purchased from Ford. Before the replacement the spped control was functioning perfectly. Now the spped contol is inoperable. I have checked the fuse and the speed control is fused with the tail lights and trailer tow wiring. the tail lights are working. Could the loss of speed control be related to the clutch slave cylinder replacement? I know the replacement requires unbolting the under hood power block.

I have a hunch that you may have disconnected or damaged wiriing at the speed control deactivation switch, which is near the master cylinder. This is kind of a cylindrical looking switch with a plug, mounted on or near the brake master cylinder. If the speed control system does not see this switch functioning, it will not let it operate. Just a hunch.
