"clunk" noise coming from the front of my vehicle when I turn left or right

(2001 Land Rover Discovery)
in Olympia, WA on January 27, 2013
It happens everytime I rotate the steering wheel to the left or right. It is not something I feel, it is something I hear. I think it is coming from the steering box. Any suggestions?

Check the stabilizer links they may need replaced. Does this occur when turning the wheel left or right while in park or only when driving?
