Clatter when turning corners - but not every time

(1990 Toyota Camry)
I had CV joints replaced about 5 years ago for $99.99 is this different from struts?? My car makes clatter sound when I turn the corner same as it did before I had the CV joints replaced and it stopped clatter. What do I do. I am 71 years old and hope my car will last as long as I do. Ha! It has about 185,00 miles on it. I am original owner - it has been a fantistic car!! Please help! Not sure if v6 or 4.

Pat,
This sounds like the classic complaint when the CV Joints have failed. I don't think you'll get this done for $99.99 again, but I would have a mechanic check it out to make sure the CV joints are the issue.

Best to have a shop test drive your car with you in it, so you can point out the noise as it happens. By the this vintage Camry can go for a long time, as long as you take care of it. Good Luck!
