Chrysler (fca us llc) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 chrysler town & country, dodge grand caravan vehicles manufactured july 31, 2015, to april 18, 2016, 2016 dodge journey vehicles manufactured august 17, 2015, to january 29, 2016, and 2016 ram promaster vehicles manufactured august 15, 2016, to april 15, 2016. the transmission pump may seize causing a loss of hydraulic pressure.

A hydraulic pump within the transmission could seize and fail, causing the transmission to stop functioning. This would prevent the vehicle from moving, and could result in an accident.

Recalls on your Chrysler or Dodge must be performed by a Chrysler or Dodge dealership, respectively. Chrysler will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in late August, 2016. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Chrysler or Dodge dealerships. They will also check for any other uncompleted recalls on your vehicle.
