Has done this 3 times - March, July, Sept 14. Driving at speed the car suddenly starts to lose power and then stalls. Turns over good but won't fire, like it isn't getting gas. First 2 times I had it hauled to the shop. By the time they could look at it it started just fine. Did diagnostic and it said the car was running a bit lean. But that was the only problem. They reset it and the engine light went out. This last time I got somebody to take me to work and at lunch time I had someone take me back to my car and it started just fine. Engine light still on because I can't reset. The car isn't trust worthy and winter is coming. Don't fancy sitting for 2 hours at 20 below. What would cause a car to stall and not start for a few hours and not give a problem code?
why does cd changer blink and not work
I changed my spark plugs and a day later I started to have the problem what can I do to fix it
also new fluid lots of movement in rez. bleed air on pump an rack
need instructions on how to remove turning signal switch
seems to do this after driving around thirty minutes.(Did show speed sensor code)
Car feels like engine is cutting out but it is only momentary and it never quits running . It is just annoying. Could this be a fuel line problem? It occurs often at times and then less often at other times. Love the car. would like to get it fixed .
My car was a little on the warm side where when the fans come on they stayed on. I changed the thermostat and now my car really over heats. My mechanic says it could be that the water pump is not spinning properly so it is pushing air through the coolant box making it bubble. How do I know if he is correct, I have already paid him to purge the lines which has a large amount of air in it when purging. How do I pin point what it is because a lot of people that own these cars say they have replaced everything and their cars are still over heating. Please someone have the answer
I have a 2000 Chrysler LHS. I have had nothing but problems after problem since I bought it. The problem I'm having now is the shifter is stuck in the "L" position. I was simply trying to back out of a parking spot and the shifter seemed to be stuck . I wiggled it and it went all the way to "L" and now I can't get it back up to "N" or "P" to start it. I've taken everything off from around the shifter and it appears that the cable was detached from the shifter. When I attempted to put the shifter back on I noticed that the cable will not budge. It is stuck. How much will this cost to fix? And what needs to be done to fix it?
but when I use cruise control it not whine.
Only when driving on the highway (speeds above 65) do I encounter this problem. It is random and unpredictable. It is TERRIFYING cause when it occurs, I think the wheel is about to wobble off completely and I crash. It occurs to frequently to be ignored. How can I rule out and/or pin point the exact problem? The need to have tires balanced? An alignment? Tie rods? Rack and pinion issues?
