the fuel pump making noise as if stuck could the relay be going out ? can it be tested ? hoping to find somthing out dont want to drop the tank and replace fuel pump if i dont have to
Runs good when warmed up and idles good as well. Ran diagnostic and couldn't come up with much except something regarding the ecm. Mechanic thought it might be a temperature sensor at the carb but I can't find anything like that. Could it be the throttle position sensor? I'm at 5000', car has 225k miles, new fuel filter.
TBI fuel system, At part throttle it is dead, ruff Idle some of the time...Have replaced Regulator,fuel pump,filter,map sensor,idle air control,all guts in distributor,computer,throttle sensor,relay,gaskets at the body to manifold,checked for vacume leaks, fuel pressure is right on,plugs,wires and most everything you can imigine. Runs like a raped ape when I put the hammer down. THEN I get a service engine soon light that comes on....I shutt off and restart and light is back off.....Dead spot and ruugh Idle......What have I missed?????????

just started one day (no changes made,(not even new gas...
my break pedal goes to the floor making stopping a bit difficult. my fluid is not low- there is no visible signs of fluid leaking any where. manual suggested to back up and hit breaks to make rear breaks adjust. this helps very little. any one else every experience this????
I have a 92 Chevy S10 Blazer. A few weeks ago it started stalling in idle, and has gotten worse. Now it stalls in idle and then when I try to turn it back on it will crank but won't start. When I turn the key to the on position, I can hear the fuel pump turn on. There is no check engine light and not giving any trouble codes besides 12 (everything is fine). Here is what I have done:

- replaced the MAP sensor
- replaced the throttle position sensor
- replaced the PCV valve
- replaced the fuel filter
- inspected all vacuum hoses, which are fine

I'm at a loss of what it could be. The next thing I was going to try is replacing the idle air control valve, but am not sure that will help.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

i have a vortec engine
i replaced the fuel pump at the tank. but now still not run. i check fuel relay no power. can any one help me? yes i replaced the icu thinking tha was my problen and still dont have power at the fuel relay. please help.
before this car wouldn't stay running lots of white smoke out exhaust did fuel pressure test it was good. changed plugs, computer, cap & rotor wires. can't get computer to communicate with the scan tool either check engine light goes off and on
I have noticed that when i drive the my blazer, i am having to put the brake pedal to the floor board in order for it to start slowing down? What could the problem be?
i have a S10 Blazer 4.3. The problem i am having is ac and heat isnt working at all. when i mess around with the vent switch i do hear noises coming from behind the switch. But i dont have defrost or anything. Air and heat doesn't come from the vents what so ever. If someone can help me then i would appreciate the help!
it doesn't happen all the time but when it does it starts right back up. also sometimes it does it before i put it into gear. does it in all gears. Now the oil hose from the external filter to the motor leaks so it loses pressure as the motor gets to operating temp. and it probably needs a fuel filter. and/ or spark plugs, wires, cap, and coil.
