Chevrolet Impala Recall 10V480000

GM Recalls 2009–2010 Impalas Due to Defective Safety Belts

Recall Details

General Motors is recalling 2009–2010 Chevrolet Impala models because the webbing on the front safety belt may not have been properly secured to the lap belt anchor pretensioner. This may cause the seat belt to function incorrectly and not restrain the occupant during a crash, which increases the risk of injury. Dealers will inspect the belts and reinstall the anchors, if necessary, free of charge.
