Check Engine Light due to transmission fault code on Honda Accord

Transmission is not shifting at the proper RPM's. From 2nd to 3rd shifting with a slight slip. Does not slip once it is in any gear.In progress of having rebuild, but getting a runaround. Mechanics are changing prices, tripling the quoted price.Does this car take a double-clutch torque convertor? We are being charged outrages price for this part. Please help with any advice.
Doors are not locked when I start vehicle.
Doors are not locked when I use key.
Only drivers door is locked with key.
All other doors has to lock/unlock manually.
