the service garage said it was rust on filler neck ,they sanded it and it still happened. I discovered that the cap always felt loose and decided to replace it, in doing so , I found out that part of the rubber on the cap was missing . I hope this fixes the problem !

shop said to get a new gas cap. mine cap cover just snaped off one day. so i got out the super glue. but now the cap will not click when i try to tighten it. so know i will buy a new one.
