Q: check engine - code refers to O2 sensor - tech says radiator on 1997 Chevrolet Lumina

I had autozone read the codes for my check engine light, there were two codes, but both referred to 02 sensor. The mechanic says it is caused by my radiator, which has definately been leaking and might be getting worse. Does this make sense?

This makes no sense. They're trying to sell you a radiator, which it sounds like you need, but it wont address the oxygen sensor codes. Do you know exactly what the OBD codes are?
