Check Charge System

(2006 Chevrolet Cobalt)
in Bear, DE on January 05, 2010
My car will not start and this message shows up in my display. Besides the obvious, what would this mean and what can I do to get it started?

First thing to do is to try to get a jump start, and see if your battery was low. Then go from there. A message like 'Check Charging System' means that your Alternator is weak or not working properly.
