could it be fuel pump fuel reg or cam shaft sensor

I think these have intake manifold problems and possibly thats whats causing the backfire, you need to have a shop trouble shoot this so you don't change unnecessary parts. you can find a shop here www.repairpal.com/directory and check prices here www.repairpal.com/estimator
