Q: Car won't start, lights in dashboard flicker. Battery? Alternator? on 1998 Acura Integra

Rookie cbe0621eac06868b3efe0d8d1d3611e23c60d3114864ea2ec19a68cfbd3eebab
My car wouldn't start yesterday when I turned on the ignition. No sound of car turning, lights in dashboard came on but was flickering - looked as if the battery was dying. Alarm was working, but I've also had some issues with my alarm draining the battery. Is this a battery issue or alternator? Or worse?

It sounds as if your battery was almost dead. A drain on the battery caused by your alarm system could be at fault. The battery or connection issues could also be at fault. A through check of the battery and connections would be in order. If you were able to jump start the engine and it ran OK after the jump start then chances are the alternator is OK.
