Car won't start. Fuel pump replaced. Battery tested.

(1990 Honda Accord)
in Worthville, KY on July 29, 2016
when you turn it off, it won't restart for about 20 mins. Now it won't start at all. What could possibly be wrong? I've read several reviews & lots of people are having the same problem. The car is actually a 1989.

The *most common* cause for engine CRANKS ok - but will not START is .. Main relay .. Distributor assembly .. Timing belt .. Empty fuel tank.

as Pushrod stated, all of the above..if this problem just started or has gotten worse since it's been hot(weather) and does start after it cools off some inside the car, then that would be the main relay also called the fuel pump relay going out(very common problem on Honda/Acura)...it's about $65.00 at a local parts store(Part #19235) or you can fix yours if you want to,IF it's fuel injected and NOT a 2.0L carburetor.
