Car won't start

(1999 Saturn SL1)
in Littleton, CO on December 01, 2009
1999 swatrn sl-1 would not start and flooded; had it towed to pep boys and ran a diagnostic and they said it was just flooded but there was one diagnostic code they could not read but it started up roughly and smoothed out and has not had any problems since which about a month ago. Now it won't start again....is it the fuel pump or are the fuel ejectors sticking or not opening but after repeated attempts to start they finally open and gets flooded with backed up gas?

A Common fault on that vehicle is a bad coolant temp sensor, when no signal PCM thinks it's -40 degrees and hence adds more fuel flooding it, try holding Pedal all the way to the floor and crank it, if the code was for temp sensor it's not a expensive repair.

is the check engine light on? if there is this could help you, with the code it could be easier to determined what the fault is
