Car won't move

(2003 Ford Windstar)

while driving the van braked at a light when i went to press on the gas as the light changed the car would not move

I'm assuming the engine revved up, but there was no engagement from the transmission? Did you try to shift from Drive to any other gear - and did it do anything different?
