Car won't come out of park.

(2009 Chevrolet Traverse)
1st the keyless remote and the power door locks won't work, heat/ AC won't come on, outside temp gauge doesn't register, windows won't roll down, plus car will not come out of park. The funny thing is it only happens when it drops below 40 degrees outside. The car will start after it gets around 55-60 degrees.

Think there were some ignition switch problems associated with these vehicles as well... Only reason I mentioned it is there seems to be a lot of 'switched' accessories that are involved here... Testing is required in any event! .. Rarely is there a proven/quick 'magic button' fix that can be gathered from the internet.

Check the brake lights when you press the brakes. They probably aren't working as well, which would explain why the vehicle will not come out of park. As for the rest of the issues, you'll need to have it diagnosed hands on. There is probably a bad controller somewhere that is being affected by the cold.

that's just the thing brake lights work and all the other symptoms only happen when the car won't come out of park. Any other time they work fine.
