Q: Car will not rise. on 2005 Mercedes-Benz ML500

There is a whole in the pipe which allows the SL500 to rise or lower. Please tell me what I have to do and the name part to be replace.

The air suspension is a system of different parts, like a compressor, air distributor valve, air lines, air boot, damping control actuator, control unit, switch, height sensors, etc..
Your car needs an air leak check and a computer diagnostic to see what part failed, than repair it accordingly.
Nobody can tell you which part failed through the internet, since there is many possibilities. I'd suggest to find a good MB independent shop in your area and let them diagnose it for you.

Most common cause would be the air ride strut assembly, we have replaced several, using a spray bottle with soapy water, spray the tops of the strut in question and you will most likely see bubbles coming from a crack which otherwise would not be visible
