Car stopped accelerating and started shaking badly. Cut off while driving.

(1999 Buick Century)
Was in motion when car stalled. Tried getting gas and it started just fine but it happened again. But the second time it didnt stall. It began to lose acceleration and started shaking real bad. I turned off and restarted it but it was still shaking badly and moving slowly.
What seems to make the problem better or worse? Havent tried anything.
How long have you had this problem? Started out of nowhere

Start with the basics like checking fuel pressure and codes. Sounds like you may have low fuel pressure, a bad coil, possibly a faulty engine sensor. Report back with codes and a fuel pressure reading. If you prefer to use a shop, then use this link to find a good shop near you.
