Car starts and stalls immediately after start as if it were starved for fuel.

(1998 Buick Skylark)
The fuel pump is brand new and the filter as well, but it still does the same thing, as if there is no gas getting to the injectors. I should mention after the initial replacement the car ran fine for a couple of weeks and then back to the same symptoms for witch i replaced the pump in the first place.

If not the relay switch what else can it be.

No, i don't believe there is a chip on the key, But the car did start and seems to be running smoothly, but i am not getting my hopes quit yet. Because it seems to be a random event with the past experiences I've had so far...However this car does have a Theft system installed.

I have the same exact problem. The first time this happened I replace the mass air flow sensor and ignition coil sensor. The second time it happened I replace the oxygen sensor, spark plugs, and serpentine belt (because the guy broke it getting to the sensor). Both times these made the car work initially and now it is happening again! I'm calling Buick today to speak with a mechanic to lead me to the next step...I've spent almost a $1000 in repairs. I don't want to give up though because when it runs it's beautiful and it has low mileage!!! Best of luck to you!
