Hello, it sounds like your saftey switch isnt working properly and not allowing you to pull the shifter, check your brake pedal switch and body control computers to see what if any signals it is receiving from the sending units that operate your shifter lock solenoid.

That is part of the recall, contact dealership and let them know that the car is inoperative and they should have to pay to have it towed.
