Q: car runs rough on 2003 Mercedes-Benz E320

Rookie cbe0621eac06868b3efe0d8d1d3611e23c60d3114864ea2ec19a68cfbd3eebab
I have a 2003 E320 which has started to run rough, sounds like a diesel, with moderate vibration. Just had the oil changed by MB dealer but no change in running condition. What should I check?

The dealer changed the oil "only".

I did not have a check engine warning.

Did the dealer make any comment about the way the car ran? If the Check Engine Light is on a code is stored in the on board computer in your car. A scan tool is required that attaches to a 16 pin diagnostic socket under the dash of your car that reads problem captured by the on board computer. If a Check Engine Light is on I suspect an ignition problem or fuel injector problem but I more suspect your car has an exhaust leak from a gasket, cracked manifold or exhaust pipe/muffler.

Have the engine mounts checked. Bad mounts will make the car seems like it has a rough idle, but is actually the vibration on the engine.
