can i bypass ignition switch on this car .years ago you were able to jump out starter by putting a screw driver between post on starter . is this still possible or is there another way.

YES THATS POSSIBLE OR YOU CAN WIRE IN A STARTER BUTTON AND INSTALL IN DASH PERMENTLY. WIRE FROM BATTERY TO SWITCH AND SWITCH TO SMALL WIRE ON STARTER SOLENOID

This sounds foolish - I know of a guy that did this - and told his friends he had done this - and of course his truck was stolen -
