Car dies when I must stop at intersections at times and hesitates when given gas

(1999 Pontiac Grand Am)
in Pueblo, CO on October 06, 2013
doesn't die all the time but is doing it more frequently lately. runs great on the highway, but dies when I have to come to a complete stop and dies sometimes while idling. engine starts back up no problem but hesitates a little and acts as if it wants to die if you give it too much gas.

Need to have it scan tested by a mechanic to see live data! Possible idle control or throttle possition sensor!

Had the same problem with mine..found a dry rotted m.a.p. sensor hose/tube and replaced it for $1 and in 5minutes (located front center under engine cover). If the hose isn't the problem, the sensor could be bad. Hope this helps someone somewhere!
