Q: car died while driving on 1996 Dodge Intrepid

my car ecently just died out while i was on the road, i tried to restart the engine but just got a clicking noise. the battery seems fine cuz the radio and lights come on.

If a battery loses one of its six cells it will only have a little over 10 volts because each cell produces a little over 2 volts per cell and that's how a 12 volt battery gets appox 13 volts, So it will still light the lights and radio but won't have the amps needed to engage the starter or power up the ignition. Start by having the battery load tested at your local auto parts store
