Hello,
The issue is in your ignition lock cylinder, and you may have to remove the plastic cover, and manually release the key. Spraying a very small amount of lubricant into the lock cylinder followed by repeated jiggling and turning can release the key as well.
If the lock cylinder will not release the key under any circumstances, refer to a professional, or change the lock cylinder.
Note, changing the lock cylinder means you will have a new ignition key that does not work with the doors, trunk, or glove box.
