It won't hurt your Ford, but I'd use straight synthetic in the future - more benefits to the engine.

All synthetics that are compatible with reg "dino" oils should say so on the bottle.

you are certainly able top mix the synthetic oil with conventional motr oil. It will not hurt the engine at all. Keep in mind that synthetic is a chemically designed oil, all of the molecules are identical, conventional oil is refined through crude, more deposits in the oil. synthetic is much better for your engine over the long haul.
