If you have the ability to remove the transfer case from the driveline, disassemble it to get the chain out, then you should have the ability to repair/rebuild the t-case and put it back in. Good luck!
YES-BUT MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT- DO NOT- DO NOT TRY TO SWITCH INTO 4WD-SERIOUS DAMAGE TO OTHER AREAS AND INCLUDING TRANSFERCASE. MAKE A SKETCH OF THE WAY THE CHAIN CAME OFF AND BUY A NEW HOOKUP LINK AND KEEPER WHEN YOU REINSTALL IT.
