Yes, if it has failed..BUT..not the kind of vibration you're thinking about!! .. In short: Harmonic or frequency vibration dampining within the crankshaft it its job, that isn't going to vibrate the vehicle in a way that can be detected! You most likely have an engine or transmission mount that has failed.. Transmission mounts are a common problem on this vehicle!
