Can a regular Joe replace a fuel filter in his garage, or does a mechanic?

Has trouble starting. Just recently loses engine power after driving for a bit and engine sputters.

its located by the rear d/s wheel. you can do it if u can lift it safely,and be careful of the pressure left in the system. its alot easier with a lift and proper tools

doubt it is your issue. you need someone to help you at a shop to track down the failure.

I was afraid of that. That is what I will do though, before I go and waste money on the wrong fixes. Thanks!
