I like them down there, the service makes me happy. The owner is very nice to us. Lately the service has been poor, with the oil cap missing, other features that also weren't working and even the oil filter was leaking.

From the description of the coolant, it sounds like the cooling system needs service. But that may not be what's causing the overheating when stopped. The problem might with the radiator cooling fan failing to come on.

Start the engine and let idle while at the same time watching the temp gauge. As the temp gauge rises, check to see if the radiator fan engages. If it doesn't, there'a a problem in the fan circuit. This could be a bad fan motor, bad fan relay, bad coolant temp sensor for the fan, or a blown fuse for the fan circuit.

< 2013 Kia Rio5 Questions
I make an accadent with my RIO 2013 HB and below is the problems below on 2013 Kia Rio5
KIA RIO HB 2013 Automatic 1400 cc

1- Starting engine take long time.
2- RPM is not working
3- Check engine alarm is on
4- when in move on D high knock sound increase with speed
5- on R mentioned sound does not exist but abnormal vibration happen
6- brakes on D and R stop working (it make the same as if the car not started) and get back to normal when i switch to N
7- on D or R with out punching accelerator the car accelerate to 40+ while its normal is 20 to 3

Oil Consumption Measurement
Customer states oil consumption is higher than the Volkswagen oil consumption standard of up to 0.5 quarts per
600 miles, or 0.5 liters per 1000 km.
Technical Background
In order to provide effective lubrication and cooling of internal engine components, all internal combustion engines
consume a certain amount of engine oil. Oil consumption varies from engine to engine and may change
significantly over the life of the engine.
Typically, engines with specified break-in periods consume more oil during the break-in period, and the oil
consumption will stabilize after the break-in period. Refer to the Owners Manual for specific break-in procedures.
Under normal conditions, the rate of oil consumption depends on the quality and viscosity of the oil, the RPM at
which the engine is operated, the ambient temperature and road conditions.
Further factors include the amount of oil dilution from water condensation or fuel residue and the oxidation level of the oil.
Service
Before testing or attempting repair, explain Technical Background to the customer.
Prior to beginning Part # 1 of this test, visually inspect the engine for any signs of leaks. If leaks are present,
contact Volkswagen Technical Assistance Center with findings.
If the customer complains that their engine is apparently consuming oil in excess of the Volkswagen oil
consumption standard above, an oil consumption test must be performed using the test plan in the VAS 5051B,
5052/A, 6150/X, 6160 tester, before any repair is carried out.
Oil Consumption Test, Part # 1
Using the VAS tester, navigate to the Oil consumption measurement using one of the provided methods below:
ODIS
• Diagnosis Operating Mode: Special functions top tab >> 17 – Sub systems, marginal conditions >> 01 – Oil
consumption measurement >> Select “Perform Test” button.
Tip:
If the test is not located using the path above, use the search feature to find the “Oil Consumption Measurement”
test plan.
Oil Consumption Test, Part # 2
1. When the customer returns the vehicle to the dealership after a minimum of 630 miles (1014 km), complete
part # 2 of the oil consumption test plan using ODIS or the VAS 5051B, 5052/A, 6150/X, 6160.
2. Contact the Volkswagen Technical Assistance Center (TACS) with the results.
3. The results and diagnostic log must be sent to the Volkswagen Technical Assistance Center (TACS) before
any repairs are performed.
Note:
GFF oil consumption test can also be used for older engines not listed in the GFF test plan, since the test and
procedure is identical for all engines. Please use any current engine code.

SERVICE INFORMATION

IMPORTANT:
When servicing a Nissan vehicle equipped with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) make sure to use the appropriate Nissan CVT Fluid specified in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), Owners Manual or Service and Maintenance Guide. Using fluid other than that specified may damage the CVT and is not covered by warranty.
^ NISSAN CVT Fluid NS-2 ("green fluid") - applies to all Nissan vehicles equipped with CVT except MY13 Altima. Use NS-2 green fluid to service these vehicles.
^ New, unused service replacement CVTs may have some residual "blue" NS-3 fluid. However, these service replacement CVTs should be filled with NS-2 green fluid. No draining is necessary.
^ NISSAN CVT Fluid NS-3 ("blue fluid") - applies to the 2013 Altima. Use NS-3 blue fluid to service these vehicles.
^ Use of any other type of fluid, including NS-2 green fluid, in the 2013 Altima vehicle may result in reduced fuel economy and/or affect drivability

SUBJECT: INTERNAL ENGINE NOISE AND/OR DAMAGE AFTER OIL FILTER
REPLACEMENT
MODEL(S): XL7 (JC636)
YEAR: 2007~2009
CONDITION: Abnormal engine noise and/or internal engine damage following engine oil
filter replacement.
CAUSE: Installation of incorrect replacement part, use of a replacement filter that is not
equivalent in quality to a Suzuki filter, or improper installation.
CORRECTION: Take care that the engine oil filter being installed (or previously installed)
matches the most recent parts information available. Do not rely on physical
dimensions and appearance. Suzuki encourages the use of “Genuine Suzuki
Parts” as the best way to avoid issues such as these that could result in very
costly repairs to the customer.

Here is a estimate for a clutch replacement cost from RepairPal. The reason for the range of price is because in replacing a clutch, the Flywheel as well as the Slave clutch cylinder may also need to be replaced when the clutch is replaced, but that will not be known until the clutch is removed, although it is not wrong idea to replace said parts because of the time it takes to get to them. On this vehicle the Flywheel cannot be resurfaced because it a Dual Mass 2 piece, so if it is worn it will have to be replaced.
