Broke piece off starter bracket or block where top bolt bolts in.

I believe starter brackets were discontinued in models after 1988. Did a piece break off an aluminum block? What do I do now?

Hello,
So long as you find a skilled welder, you can just have that chunk welded back on. Even if fluid comes out now, a good welder can stick it back together.

If you want, take a quick video, post it somewhere, send me the link, and I'll take a look.
