Brake lights

(1990 Dodge Dakota)

no brake lights, when I depress the brake peddle the buzzer sounds, when I turn on the interior light the buzzer wont sound when brake peddle is depressed, but still no brake lights. all other lights are working fine and bulbs are fine.

Do you mean the 'lights on' warning or the 'key in' warning for when you open the door with the lights on or the key in the ignition? You may want to see a Chryslar specialist or an auto electric shop for a diagnosis.

I think it's in the brake light sensor switch at the peddle. I will take it out tomorrow and bench test it, a good place to start and take it from there. I was hoping someone had expierienced this before but electrical is a pain to diagnose.
