Brake light on passenger side

(1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee)
the circuit board was replaced in february, the bulb is new but my brake light doesn't work Is this really expensive to fix or can I fix it myself. thank you very much

Look for 12 volts on the White and tan wire at the rear lamp when the brake pedal is pressed. The bulb ground is the black wire at the tail lamp assembly. Try swapping bulbs from side to side and see if the bulb from the other side works in the brake lamp that presently does not work.
