Both high and low beams not working after a "tink" sound in the dash need help?

(2003 Ford Expedition)
in Rialto, CA on May 16, 2018
Switch is good and has been tested. Fuse box new just replaced. Lights worked fine for a few days, then heard a "tink" sound from the dash area, and headlights went out. Fuses good. Both low and high beams do not come on. But when I jumped the wires behind the headlight switch, the headlights work. Even replaced headlight switch with new one. But still I get no power to the lights.
Please help?
