Blower motor not working, but sometimes if it will come on and work fine. Sometimes I hear what sounds like a vent door opening or closing the it starts working.

(1999 Ford Ranger)
It will just start working when I turn it on, or not work at all when I turn it on.
What seems to make the problem better or worse? Nothing, it will work sometimes but not other times.
How long have you had this problem? about a month

Check for power at the blower when it's not working. If you have battery voltage then the motor is bad. If you hit the blower housing area and it starts working it's probably a bad blower. Dead spot on the motor.
