Q: Began making grinding noises when backing out or turning into garage on 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe

Happens when turning most of way left or right. Tires seem to lock up, and actually squeal on pavement. Have to goose accelerator to move it forward or backward

Here are some possibilities : If equiped, make sure 4x4 is not engaged even if there is no indicator lights showing it is! Sounds like 4x4 buck or binding up on dry pavement.
Shift it in and then out of four wheel drive, IF equiped, some are not! IF not 4x4 then check to see if rear differential may need limited slip additive. Also front hub bearings may be roughed up.
