I charge battery. Start car and shortly the battery light comes on and the battery power starts to fade. I replaced the alternator and continue to have the issue. What else should I look at?

check all connections, tight, plugged up,corrosion.then have the new alternator tested, could be bad,NEW alternator right off the shelf.happens a lot.also have the battery tested after full charge is put on it.

Alternator gives me 14 volts at the battery for 5 minutes after starting car. Then battery light comes on and the volts drop to 11. Wtf?

if you checked what pushrod said, and all is good, take the alternator back and have it checked at parts house.sounds like the regulator may be bad.

I agree, take that junk back and get a NAPA Power Supreme alternator!
