Q: battery died now sunroof one touch wont work, opens in sections on 2004 Infiniti QX56

my battery went dead (light left on) now battery is fine but now my sunroof will not close open smooth one touch as before is goes in sections then stops and I need to keep pushing open/close button till it fully closes or opens, is there a reset?

You may want to verify your battery voltage is up to where it should be - 12.6 - 12.7 volts would be fully charged. Low battery voltage - even with the car running - can cause issues in your electrical system that could possibly cause the issue you are mentioning. Other than that, a diagnostic tool would be necessary to see what the switch and motor are doing when operating it.
