The automatic transmission may not shift correctly. This can be caused by the throttle position sensor being out of adjustment or a shift solenoid needing to be replaced. Typically the transmission does not need to be completely overhauled.Google+

Same problem as reported by others. When attempting to accelerate the car will be slow to respond and then downshift hard with rpms surging. Problem is worse with cruise control and cruise calls for acceleration.

Transmission will not shift correctly. Sometimes will not shift into reverse, drive, 2, and low. It is as if i am in neutral, the RPM's are moving but the car isn't. I have not fixed this issue as of this report.

Car will start put it in drive or reverse acts like its in neutral will not go at all
Slamming shift on takeoff, then at 7000rpm spuuters, won't shift until you release accelerator slightly. If car is allowed to warm to 1/2 of temp gauge shifting is much better. Erratic shifting.
doesnt shift into gear right away after you stop, then slams into gear and jerks forward

SLAMMING TRANSMISSION ON TAKEOFF. HARD SHIFTING, GETS A LITTLE BETTER ONCE THE CAR IS WARMED UP 1/2 ON TEMP GAUGE, BUT DEFINATELY STILL SOMETHING WRONG.

Newly-replaced used engine with low miles.

The car will do reverse ok, but when put on Drive it will act like in neutral position and will start moving really slowly like something is holding the car, the revs will go up but the car won't accelerate after a few minutes the operation will become normal.

Won't shift into 4th gear
