(1999 Chevrolet Venture)
It is very cold here but suddenly having a problem with operation of the automatic sliding door; it opened and then wouldn't close. What could cause this? I have cleaned the sensors, track, etc.

When you say you cleaned the sensors, do you mean the contacts at the lower front portion of the door? Those are actually the contacts which complete the circuits inside the sliding door when it is closed. About the only repair you can try is to clean the contacts on the door and the corresponding contacts on the door jamb. The best thing to clean them with is a scotch bright pad. If that does not work the problem will most likely need to be diagnosed by a qualified technician.
