I have always been satisfied with the service and information provided by Auto Safety in the past. My last experience with the brakes being replaced incorrectly created some concern as I'd like to believe my car should be in the safest condition when I leave the shop. I'm not expecting this to happen again. I really appreciate the explanations that Chris provides on repairs that have been done and future needs.

The Auto Safety Center was able to diagnose and fix the speedometer and address the related ABS, traction, and hill assist info lights in a timely manner. A wiring harness had become broken. All was well thereafter. Would recommend you give them a try.

I brought my car to you for 2 tires and an alignment. The tech discovered some additionally needed repairs (about $1200 on top of the original quote). I went forward with these repairs and they were completed to my satisfaction. As always, Chris was easy to work with, understood what I needed, and explained to me additional items that he would want me to consider taking care of in the near future in order to make sure the vehicle is performing at its maximum potential. I came in because I had a tire that was loosing air pressure consistently. He explained it would be an easy fix. However the solution did not fix the problem. The tire maintained a leak. No big deal, he offered to have the guys take another try at it. He also pointed out some other more severe issues that I was having, as well as some additional things that I would be looking at down the road. Based on that information, I made the decision to trade the vehicle, and upgraded. I will continue to do business with Auto Safety Center in the future.

They are very thorough at Auto Safety Center and do a good job communicating their findings. My only issue is I believe they are more expensive than many service providers and I have a sense they are looking for places for me to spend more money vs. maximizing the value provided to me.

Dropped vehicle off at 9:30a for a 10 o'clock, scheduled oil change. Phoned the shop at 11:45a to check on status. Was surprised to hear that the vehicle wouldn't be ready until 1p. Stopped in and spoke with Chris at 12:15p to find out if we could expedite. Unpleasant customer service from Chris -- I will not be back.

I had a scheduled oil change appt early in the day. Dropped off my car, and had a friend pick me up. I was told it would take an hour. This was not even close to accurate. Because of this I was unable to pick my children up from school, I could not get back into my own house because I did not have my house keys as they were attached to my car keys. I was very upset that I was without my car for 5 hours for a simple oil change that I actually had an appointment for. My entire day was inconvenienced because of the lack of service I received while trying to get an oil change. I will not be back.

I can't find my manual book to see wha...
(!) Typically means that you have a low tire. Check your tire pressure and make sure they are inflated to your vehicle specs (not what the sidewall states, as that is just the max pressure) You can find your vehicle tire pressure specs by looking for a placard on the drivers door jamb which will tell you the pressure to run in all the tires. Sometimes the placard is located on the drivers side rear door jamb so look there too. My tire guide states that the pressure for all Murano tires under 20" diameter is 33 psi Front and rear, 20" tires require 34 psi front and rear, but it's always best to reference the placard or owners manual.
61000 miles on current shocks in the rear
A thorough suspension inspection should be performed to determine if you can replace just the rear shocks or other components in combination with the shocks. We have seen the rear shocks (specifically the air shocks) fail at a faster rate then the front struts. We have replaced just the rear shocks several times after inspecting the suspension, with no side effects in ride or safety.

Low range normally means a lower gear set you can use in 4 wheel drive. It limits your top speed quite a bit and is not meant for street use. Most 4X4 vehicles will have a 4x4 low range switch on the dash, I noticed this is a Cadillac CTS is it all wheel drive?

Have you checked the fluid level in the transmission? I would start with making sure it is at the correct level. My intial reaction is an internal transmission problem, but without actually feeling what you are describing, it is hard to say.

I would check the warranty (if any) on the last transmission. I am uncertain of the "remodeled" term. If you mean remanufactured I would think it should be under some type of warranty.

The easy answer would be to stick the Toyota recommended intervals. I also agree wholeheartedly that maintenance is PROACTIVE which allows you to budget your expenses. It also allows you to schedule and take care of things at your convenience. Being REACTIVE is many times more expensive and way more inconvenient. Have a Great Day!

You are probably correct that the 4wd is not working. I would suggest taking it in to have it diagnosed. It could be several things from the switch, 4x4 control module, or shift motor just to name a few.
