The electrical connector for the auxiliary heater may be subject to becoming corroded, leading to the wiring to overheat and possibly melt. This could cause a vehicle fire.

Recall repairs on your Audi must be performed by a Audi dealership. Audi will notify known owners of affected vehicles (a timetable of this notification is unavailable as of the time of this writing). If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Audi dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
